The weight of the Bimbo Skunk Lure® makes it sink at the perfect rate to present much like natural prey that just fell off a leaf. Maybe this is the reason the fish hit it so hard! The head color that works best depends on the day, so it is best to have at least one of each in your tackle box.
Description
The regular Bimbo Skunk Lure® is hand tied with a 1/80 oz jig on a #10 hook. It is now available with a larger 1/32 oz jig on a #8 hook for use in deeper water: just select the “Large” size. It features a black body and two stripe colors including chartreuse (which I find works best to entice the gills into biting) and hot pink (which the crappies kill, or vice versa). The jig head is available in three fish-catching colors including black, red, and hot pink. All lures feature a red neck and thread teaser tail. The small jig head makes it perfect for those of you tossing bobbers into the lily pads.
